Poor Water Pressure

A common problem faced by homeowners is low water pressure.

Gal pipe was the material used in many homes during the 70’s and 80’s to run it’s water lines in and around the home. The problem with gal is over time, it’s orifice diminishes due to sediment and a rust substance that builds up into the pipe. This sediment reduces the orifice of the pipe, which greatly reduces the water pressure from the taps. The sediment can also colour the water brown. The only way to fix this is to replace the gal pipe with copper pipe. The pressure will greatly improve and there will no more brown water.
